What Might be Found?

Our medical team shows you what they are looking for when they examine your insides and explain what happens if or when they find anything in your colon that needs treatment. This film should hopefully address any fears you might have and feel reassuring no matter what the outcome of your examination.

Colonoscopy Preparation

What is Endoscopy?​

We meet a group of patients who are having endoscopies who tell us what it’s like and how they feel. We see and hear about typical causes of problems and what might be causing them.

Welcome to Prince Charles Hospital​

The Prince Charles Hospital liaison team introduce themselves so that you know what to expect when you come to visit the unit. The Indigenous Hospital Liaison transport service operates for rural and remote patients only between the hospital and your accommodation.
It is available at the following times:
Monday and Friday 8:30 am to 7pm – depending on the destination point
Tuesday to Thursday 8:30 am to 4pm- depending on the destination point
Saturday and Sunday 10:30 am to 5 pm – depending on the destination point
